The NAAFI of the Airwaves
Terry Tomlinson
Joined the RAF in 1966 as an apprentice, did some controlling on HBS (Hereford Broadcasting Service) but never did any presenting.
Left there went to RAF Stafford, joined the RAF MRT, and then went to
RAF Leeming, Akrotiri, Valley, Marham, Hullavington, Lyneham, Gatow and back to Stafford, where I ended up on TSW, then left the RAF after 23 years and got a job as a civilian on the camp for 10 years.
Had various jobs before I retired, and moved back to Stafford to take up a job babysitting the grandkids.
I have been listening to VRN for about a year and found that there were no traditional folk music programmes so I thought I would give it a go and try presenting folk music.
